Multi-Award Winning Composer / Music Producer

​Trained at the Royal College of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music and the National Film & Television School, Andrew Reynolds is a London based, multi-award-winning Composer / Music Producer who writes for Film, TV & Theatre. Andrew has worked in the music department on projects which have received awards at the Oscars, the Emmy's and the Sundance Film Festival. For projects where he has acted as the lead composer, Andrew himself has received multiple awards and accolades from establishments which include the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival, Berlin Music Video Awards, Off-West End Theatre Awards, VAULT Festival, Encounters Film Festival and Zealous X Film Festival. In 2019 Andrew was accepted on to the BAFTA CREW professional development programme. Andrew’s music is published by Ninja Tune and is represented for synchronisation by ThinkSync and Blue Raincoat Music.

Andrew currently holds a position as an in-house consultant composer / music producer at the Secretsundaze Studios where he is employed to consult on matters of music composition, recording, mixing and mastering for a host of clients working within a range of genres.

​Alongside his work for TV, Film & Theatre, Andrew has composed extensively for the concert hall and has received performances from the BBC Singers, RNCM Brand New Orchestra, Royal Academy of Music’s Buffet Crampon Clarinet Prize, The London New Winds Festival, ddmmyy concert series and ACM Ensemble. Performed compositions have been of varying sizes - from pieces for soloists through to pieces for full orchestra. ​
Andrew has worked as an assistant for a number of high profile clients. Recent engagements include working with Matthew Herbert on a film produced by the National Geographic (The Cave), Nainita Desai on a film produced by the BFI (The Reason I Jump), and Simon Clarke (Line of Duty, King Lear, Wolf Hall) on the Location Sound Recording Course at the National Film & Television School. Previous clients include Will Gregory (Goldfrapp), the Red Bull Music Academy, Marc Almond (Soft Cell), London Contemporary Orchestra (LCO), National Film & Television School, Danny L Harle (PC Music and Columbia Records), John Harle (EMI Classics), Avishai Cohen (Blue Note), James Priestley (Secretsundaze), Chester Music Publishers, the Futures Choir and the Festival Chamber Orchestra. As an assistant Andrew has provided services in additional composition, score preparation, orchestration, arrangement, instrumental performance as well as sound editing and audio mixing. ​
Andrew composes electronic music as an artist under his own name and has received extensive support from XLR8R magazine and Dummy magazine. Andrew has performed and broadcasted on Rinse FM and Radar Radio. ​
Andrew is represented as a performing artist by booking agent Sunday Soul Lounge. He is represented as a private music teacher by Key Lessons & Piano Teachers Connect.
