Hailing from the Royal Northern College of Music, 24 year-old Andrew Reynolds is an ambitious young music professional based in London, UK. With an eclectic approach to music and over 10 years of experience, Andrew has developed a highly specialised skill set that allows him to work within a multitude of musical genres to meet any brief required.
As a Composer/Producer, acoustic compositions have ranged in size from pieces for soloists through to pieces for full orchestra. Some notable performances have been by the BBC Singers, RNCM Brand New Orchestra, Royal Academy of Music Clarinet Prize, The London New Winds Festival, ddmmyy series and ACM Ensemble. In 2010 he started producing electronic music under his own name and has subsequently developed professional skills in recording, mixing and mastering. He frequently works with experimental film director Stephen Shiny Perkins to produce short films.
Working as an Orchestrator/Arranger, Andrew has been involved in various projects for film, TV and the concert hall. Recent clients include Will Gregory (Goldfrapp), John Harle (Terror and Magnificence), Chester Music Publishers, the Futures Choir and the Festival Chamber Orchestra.
A frequent performer and curator, in 2013 Andrew was the founding member of The Winter Jazz Nights and Audio Mixer. Both projects were aimed specifically at giving performance opportunities to young musicians in south-west London. The Winter Jazz Nights gained significant support from the UK Jazz Services and in 2014 Audio Mixer was selected by The Warehouse Project organisers to be featured as part of a project entitled, Awaken Ibiza. In March 2014 Andrew joined Marc Almond and John Harle on tour for their collaborative project, The Tyburn Tree, as an electronic music technician. In this role he was responsible for setting up and maintaining electronic systems for the realisation of electronic sounds whilst ensuring that all cues were met accurately during performance.
Andrew Reynolds works part-time with Avishai Cohen (jazz bassist), his management team, and Razdaz Recordz as a social media consultant. Other clients have included Marc Almond, John Harle and Sospiro Records. From 2013 to 2014 he worked part-time as an assistant administrator to events production company and record label, ESIP Ltd.
Andrew Reynolds graduated from the Junior Royal College of Music in 2008, and from the Royal Northern College of Music (BMus) in 2012. He studied guitar and piano as second studies to his primary studies in composition.
